On Wednesday the 26 of november room 9 went to Puke Ariki mueseum.we looked at a model of a Pa site it was amazing, we had lots of fun. we learned what mahi whenua and tangata meant. mahi means work ,whenua means land and tangata means people. i can't wait till the next visit.

Today is Wednesday and my class and I are going to Te Koru pa site. I am thrilled because It is one of the oldest pa sites in the world (because maori only ever lived in New Zealand) it was fun cold and amazing we  had a guide called Ivan he was lovely. At the end of the day we were sad to have to go we would miss the trenches the trees and of course the friendly smile of Ivan. By Tia

book review

Operation Evaporation  14/8/14

My favourite part of the book was when Mary-Kate and Ashley were on a boat in a lake. All the water started evaporating and it was my favourite part because I could imagine panic and wonder.

The worst part of the book for me was when Ashley and Mary-Kate dove their submarine into the ocean because it wasn't so much fun to read about and I could not imagine much at all.

My favourite character is Quincy the dog because he is really amazing. He can talk and he is a robot. He makes me feel happy and that anyone can do anything like a dog on a mission!

 The genre of this book is adventure and action because the girls are secret agents,they go on missions to save the world.

 My least favourite character is Stuart because he keeps on teasing the girls and being mean.

Ahi  would relate to this book because she likes adventure and action.

A clue about the ending is that the girls are in for a big surprise! This book will leave you feeling very happy.
